Kelly’s first big event of 2025 will be Cup Karts of North America July 3-5. This is round 2 of 3 for their East series. More will be published as the event gets closer but I wanted to give you some information if you have never attended one of these events, or an event like this.

The schedule will come out at a later date but expect move in Thursday. Friday is practice all day with a mandatory drivers meeting in the afternoon. Saturday and Sunday are both individual race days with qualifying each day. Top 3 in each class will podium. CKNA is strict on their schedule so be sure to follow along getting tires picked up and scanned in. Make sure you fill out the pretech form and get your kart teched! If you have any questions feel free to email me at kellysmotorsportspark@gmail.com EVERYBODY on the premises needs to pay for a wristband. There are no free spectators. Wristbands are available for 3 day, 2 days, or 1.

CKNA is the largest 4-cycle national series out there right now.  They are strictly LO206 motors with 9 classes.  CKNA has 4 divisional series, plus 4 National Events.  The East series has three races with each race calculating points.  We will count the best 5 out of 6 races for total points.  If you place in the top 5 overall CKNA has a year-end award ceremony at the Grand Nationals in October.  Kelly’s is the second event for the East Series.  The first event is at Quaker Motorsports Park in Salem, OH June 5-7.  Kelly’s is July 3-5. And the last round is NJMP Aug 28-30.

Everyone on the premises must have a wristband whether you are a driver or a spectator!! Pit passes are not included in your racing fees and must be purchased when you arrive at the track.  Parents must sign a Parental Consent form for all minors. 3, 2, and 1-day pit passes are available and sold at the track.

Event Registration for drivers will be ONLINE on Race Select. Usually, registration opens a month before the event and will be posted to sign up.  You can go back at any time and look at the race line-up to see how many drivers are signed up.

Pit Spots are bought when you register that way you know where you are when you show up.  There will be a pit map with marked spots.

There will be a schedule posted that is strictly followed for the full event.  It will show when everything opens up and closes, and when each class goes out. This usually comes out a week or two before the event.

Supplemental Rules will be published that give you information on where to purchase your gas, any new information/rules that came out, a track map, and other information that is helpful.

Tires can be bought through registration. There are tire rules to follow and racing tires must be scanned in!!  Times will be posted for tire pickup and scanning.

Transponders are mandatory and can be rented.  If you have your own make sure you put the correct number down in your registration process.

Pre-tech must be done with your pre-tech papers filled out.  If you are clear, you will receive stickers for your chassis, and your paper can be handed in.  The pre-tech form will be available for download when the event is opened up.

Kart numbers must be visible!  If we cannot read them you will be required to buy new numbers.  They must be on all 4 sides of the kart.

Thursday will be move-in/set-up day and times will be posted when you can start coming.

Friday will be practice all day.  When you register make sure you click whether or not to pay for Friday practice!  It is not included in normal class registration.  If you choose to practice you will receive a helmet sticker.  If you do not have the correct stickers the grid marshall will not let you on track.

Driver’s meeting will be held either Friday.  Drivers must attend!  Fabulous prizes are also given out by drawing driver’s names!

Saturday is one individual race day with podium.

Sunday is one individual race day with podium.

Overflow spectator parking can be along the road, or in the lot next door.

If you plan on attending this event I recommend reading over the CKNA Rulebook and getting familiar with it.
