Practice sessions are scheduled regularly (view our practice schedule here), with most taking place on Sundays. Gates will open at 9:00 AM sharp.
Fees and Access:
- Rider Entry: $50
- Non-Driver Pit Pass: $20
Track Operations and Rules:
- Sessions run in 10-minute intervals, alternating by grid
- All participants must adhere to the AMA rulebook
- Grass parking available behind the facility
- Alcohol consumption is prohibited until the track goes cold for the day
Any rules pertain to the AMA rulebook and Kelly’s Motorsports Park.
We reserve the right to deny entry if rules are not respected. Kelly’s is somewhere to ride and
have fun. It is only practice, there is no racing! Bikes are allowed to park anywhere in the grass
area. Be mindful when riding to the grid and back to the pits. Everyone in your party must stop
and get a wristband, and sign correct waivers to enter before going into the pits.
Track Etiquette and Conduct
Passing and blocking rules are critical for safety and fairness. Key guidelines include:
● Respect personal space: Allow enough room when overtaking to avoid collisions.
● Communicate intentions: Use bike positioning or hand signals to indicate
passing if you are a slower rider.
● Timing and positioning: Choose safe moments to pass and maintain strategic
lines to defend position without causing hazards.
● Defensive and offensive maneuvers: Riders must anticipate opponents’ actions
and react safely to maintain competitive positioning.
The minimum age for amateur riders is 12. A rider must be 14 or older to ride a 201cc to
250cc motorcycle. A rider must be 16 or older to ride a 251cc or above motorcycle.
Gear:
● Full safety gear. All gear will be inspected for any damage and holes. If any gear
does not meet spec, then the rider will not be allowed to ride.
● Full face helmet with minimum DOT rating that has a manufacturer date of 5
years or less. Must not have any damage.
● Full 1 or 2-piece leather suit with CE armor.
● Back protector
● Leather gloves that cover above wrist bone
● Boots that cover above ankle bone.
Bike:
● Nothing over 600cc.
● Noise Restriction – 110 dB/A
● Crash protection is required on all bikes (case covers,bar ends, axle, etc.)
● All Oil plugs/oil filter or plug/radiator caps and drain bolts required to be safety
wired or equivalent sealed.
● Free from all fluid leaks (oil,fuel,fork seals,coolant).
● All lights must be tapped over.
● For 2-stroke bikes, a catch can must be installed, or overflow.
● All bikes must have track approved coolant (no glycol).
