The rulebook is out! Are you new to karting and not sure where to begin? Kelly’s Motorsports Park will host a Beginners School on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The school will be open to anyone who wants to learn what’s new or simply needs a refresher before the season begins. Track time is only open to NEW drivers. You must have your own kart and gear. The track will open at 9 AM. Throughout the day, you will learn everything from signing in at Registration, what to expect on a race day, track and driver safety, kart maintenance, flag meanings, going on a track walk, and even getting some track time. Seat time is the most important thing for new drivers! Please dress for the weather as it can still be chilly in April!
Beginner School Fees: $55 for any driver, $15 for a non-driver pit pass. All minors (& Parents) must sign the Parental Minor Consent Form at Registration, along with all other sign-in sheets.

Plan on bringing your kart, safety gear, and tools! We do have drinks and some snacks available for sale in our Registration building otherwise plan on bringing what you need for the day. Anyone who does not have their own kart, we have a separate driving school where you can try a kart before going and investing in one.
Banquet News!
Kelly’s Motorsports Park will be hosting our banquet at Salmon Creek Country Club, located at 355 Washington St, Spencerport, NY 14559, on Saturday, February 21st. You must purchase a dinner ticket to attend, kids 5 and under may share a plate with their parents. Tickets are $30 and must be paid in advance by Feb 14th. Cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM, followed by a buffet dinner around 6:00 PM. Trophy presentations will take place after dinner.

We kick off the season with our Rookie School—a perfect opportunity for anyone new to karting who already has a kart to join us for a full day of learning the basics and getting in some practice laps.
Kelly’s Motorsports Park is also excited to announce that we will be hosting Round 2 of the Cup Karts of North America East Division, July 3–5.
On July 25, we’ll turn up the excitement with a Night Race, featuring racing under the lights.
The Vintage Karting Association will return September 17–19, rounding out another unforgettable season.

Track is closed due to paving in early September. We will announce if and when we reopen in October for some practice.
Closed this weekend for Labor Day weekend. Next weekend is the last one for the season. Racing Saturday, Practice Sunday. No track time due to paving after that, so let’s make this race a big one!! We are also planning a year-end get-together for those receiving awards. Thank you to everyone who joined us this season. We already have many ideas and plans for next year. Racing can only get bigger and better if you race at Kelly’s! One-Way Radios are no longer required/used.

What began as a fun filled weekend ended in tragedy. It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the loss of our dear friend and fellow enthusiast, Dan Trendell. Our prayers and deepest condolences go out to Dan’s wife Christine, his family, and his many friends. May the memories of Dan’s passion, spirit, and joy inspire us all during this difficult time. The moment you have all been waiting for… the 2025 Kelly’s Motorsports Park schedule! The track will be hosting VKA, EVK, and CKNA this season! We have a few Double Header weekends to get races in this year. There are many plans to continue improvement. We will be closing after our last race weekend in early September to do some more paving. Kellys Motorsports Park is an asphalt kart racing facility that has been brought back to life after being closed for 10+ years. Join us for some thrilling 4-cycle and 2-cycle racing starting at age 5! We even have classes for 50+. Spectators will be free outside the pits.
