As we get ready to kick off the season, please review the following important reminders to ensure a safe, smooth, and compliant start for all competitors:

Safety & Equipment

• No helmet‑mounted or body‑mounted cameras are permitted anywhere on track.
• Transponders:
  • Please charge your unit and confirm your subscription is active before arrival.
  • We currently have 3 transponders available for purchase ($150 each).
  • Rental transponders are available for $25 if you do not own one.
• Safety Gear:
  • Verify that all gear fits properly and is in good condition.
  • Helmets must be Snell‑rated and not expired.
• Brake Tethers:
  • All karts must have a functioning brake‑tether installed.

Lead & Weight Requirements

• All added weight must use 1 1/4″ washers on both the seat‑side and outside of the seat.
• The Speed Shop has limited hardware available if you need additional components.

Upcoming Events

• Swap Meet & Practice Day:
  • Sunday, May 19
  • Race 1 will use Configuration 1, so practice will run the standard layout.
• Bike Parking:
  • All bikes must park in the back grass area.
• Bike Tech Liaison Needed:
  • We are seeking a volunteer to serve as the bike liaison, responsible for checking bikes before they enter the track.
